Juan Giménez López (1943)

Juan Giménez López was born in Mendoza, Argentina, in 1943. Fascinated since childhood by the drawing, he began imitating comics and Hispanic and Spanish books covers. Later he dedicated to drawing sequences of movies he liked, and even play them in clay. So he learned to draw narrative sequences. He completed his training studying Industrial Design.
He worked in several Argentine advertising agencies, learning to synthesize the narrative to the millimeter. In 1976, he performs the cartoo war omic As The Pique (Ace of Spades) with writer Ricardo Barreiro.
In the late seventies he moved to Europe, starting to draw cartoons for publishers. In 1979 published his first color album Estrella Negra (Blak Star). Then published Basura, Cuestión de Tiempo (Rubbish, Question of Time), whose script he also wrote, El Cuarto Poder (The Fourth Power), Leo Roa and  Juego Eterno (Eternal Game).
Currently he's living in Sitges (Spain) and collaborates with Alejandro Jodorowsky in the series La Casta de los Metabarones (The Caste of the Metabarons) (Jodorowsky is the writer), and a short film in preproduction.


Katsushika Hokusai (1760 - 1849)

Katsushika Hokusai was born in Edo (now Tokyo), Japan, in 1760 (exact date questionable). He was a Japanese artist, ukiyo-e painter and printmaker influenced by such painters as Sesshu, and other styles of Chinese painting.
Hokusai is best known as author of the woodblock print series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji which includes the internationally recognized print, The Great Wave off Kanagawa, created during the 1820s.


Lois van Baarle "Loish" (1985)

Lois van Baarle "Loish" was born in Holland en 1985. She  is a digital illustrator who also works animation. She has been drawing since he could hold a pencil. Started drawing digitally with a mouse at age 15, and earned his first tablet at 16, after spending most of his free time with digital drawing. He is self-taught. At 18 he decided to study animation in college. for a year will do in Ghent (Belgium) and then move back to their home country to study at the Hogeschool voor Kunsten Utrecht (HKU) in Hilversum.
Loish has lived all over the world, including the United States, Indonesia, France and Belgium.
She has a clear female and youth brand, is cheerful, almost fairy, highlighting the excellent use of the color palette to give her pictures a great visual strength and a delicate air of nostalgia. Her digital brushstrokes have much in common with traditional painting thanks to the mastery of light and composition of their creations.


Martín Ansín (1977)

Martín Ansín was born in Uruguay in 1977. Lives and works in Montevideo. His best known work is the film posters produced in limited editions official for several current titles and classics. His particular style it's been working for clients such as Sony, Universal, HBO, Lucasfilm, Rolling Stone and The New Yorker and reap a legion of fans who follow his career and look forward to his version of every film that is released. 
Ansin drawing since he can remember, never was very akin to formal education and the way of learning was knowing oneself, researching styles, textures, color palettes that allow you to solve each scene. His beginnings were in the world of comics and it seems that there is good management of the situation, that game where you know where to stop time for the action to freeze and look like you are tracing one frame of the film.


Rhys Cooper

Rhys Cooper was born in Australia. He is an illustrator specialized in gig posters design (he worked for Them Crooked Vultures, Rage Against The Machine, Queens of the Stone Age, Kings of Leon, Metallica and Pearl Jam amongst others).


Orlando Arocena

Orlando Arocena was born in United States. He's a Mexican-Cuban American artist specializing in digital illustration. The clean, angular nature of vector illustration lends itself to a certain sci-fi flavor that permeates throughout Arocena’s work. As a Pratt Institute graduate in design, orlando used his interest in art history and culture to inspire his work. Now, Orlado is a creative consultant working on some of the largest brands in the world.


Jeff Boyes

Jeff Boyes was born in Maple Ridge, B.C. Canada and graduated from The University of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford, B.C. before moving to Vancouver to work in graphic design and printmaking. Jeff was exposed to screen-printing at an early age by his dad, who ran a screen-printing shop. His subject matter usually involves pop culture and is very graphic design influenced.
